The Future Is Electric: Transforming Transport for the NHS

With less than eight years before the ban on sales of new petrol and diesel vehicles comes into force, the race to get the UK ready for a full transition to electric vehicles (EV) is underway. Connected Kerb, one of the country’s leading providers of charging infrastructure solutions, is a key player in ensuring that sustainably mobility becomes a reality for everyone – including the wonderful workers of the National Health Service.

With a workforce of over 1 million people and over half a million spaces where chargers could be installed, charging up the NHS could become a shining example of how the public sector can lead the UK charge toward net zero. This webinar examines the importance of having long-lasting, sustainable electric vehicle charging infrastructure on NHS sites and how Connected Kerb is offering a real-world solution to the challenges posed by implementing such a huge but critical transformation.

From exploring what NHS staff need from charging to debating charging speeds – where quick isn’t always best - to how to find a charger and using it, the session will also examine funding options and the full end-to-end service that Connected Kerb provides along the entire electrification journey from charging point site selection through to installation and maintenance.
